Library friends to meet

The South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library will conduct its general meeting at noon Thursday in the conference room of the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. Topics of discussion will be the upcoming book sale and election of officers.

The South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting the local library. They focus on keeping the children’s programs fully funded as well as promoting the library. Anyone who would like to become a member is welcome to drop by the library from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
