Library holds storytime

The Douglas County Public Library is starting a monthly Saturday storytime at the Lake Tahoe Branch Library, U.S. Highway 50 and Warrior Way in Zephyr Cove Park.

Storytime is a free program for children ages 3 and up and will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 25, Sept. 22, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 15. A schedule is available at the library. The program will include a half hour of stories and poems and a simple craft.

Regular weekly storytime will continue at 11 a.m. on Thursdays.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California lifted regional stay-at-home orders across the state Monday in response to improving coronavirus conditions, returning the state to a system of county-by-county restrictions, state health officials announced.
