Library to host composting workshop

The Douglas County Public Library will host “Composting Worms on Tour” with Farmer Craig from Full Circle Compost July 11 in Zephyr Cove Park.

Farmer Craig will discuss the natural process of composting. Attendees will have an opportunity to plant a vegetable plant in a pot to take home. Children ages 5 to 12 will receive a free book.

The workshop will being at 1:30 p.m. at the Zephyr Cove Park gazebo, located off Warrior Way behind the Zephyr Cove library.
