Lighting the South Shore: Residents brighten their homes with holiday spirit

Like the homes that are decorated, each year it has become a tradition that readers call the Tahoe Daily Tribune to tell where they think the best lighted homes are on the South Shore.

Homeowners have gone to great lengths to illuminate their property, with brilliant assortments of eye-popping multi-colored streams of red, blue, yellow and white.

From the fantasia of Capri or Hidden Woods drive, to the elegant simplicity of the Nativity on Emerald Bay Road near the “Y,” the holiday season is here, a stark reminder that when given light, South Shore residents will do their best to make it shine.
