Memorial services will take place at a later date for Linda Lear, who died Aug. 3, 2004, at her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was 50.

Linda was born May 29, 1954, to Lonnie and Donna Bostick at Glendale, Calif. She was a 25-year resident of South Lake Tahoe and had been a longtime checker at both Raley’s at the South Shore. She enjoyed spending time with her children and supported their various winter sports. Linda had a heart the size of South Lake Tahoe and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Anderson of South Lake Tahoe; children, Tiffani Lear, Linsee Lear and Jamie Lear of Sacramento, Calif., and Danny Lear and Bobby Garvin of South Lake Tahoe; grandchildren, Jayden and Jillian; parents, Lonnie and Donna Bostick of Southern California; brother, Terry Bostick of Southern California; sister, Sandi Garvin of Oregon; and lifelong friend, Bob Lear of South Lake Tahoe.
