Listings are being updated for Almanac 2000

The Carson Valley Almanac directory of public services, agencies, schools, parks, clubs and organizations, youth groups, churches, county offices and community resources is now being updated.

The 2000 edition will appear in May, and the updating of the directory begins at this time of year to give everyone plenty of opportunity to make sure the information in their listing is accurate.

Almanac editor Joyce Hollister can help people interested in updating their information. She can be reached at 782-5121, hollister@swiftnews.com or fax information to 782-6132.

The directory is for non-profit groups, agencies, social and religious organizations and governmental offices.

A free copy of the 1999 Carson Valley Almanac is available at the R-C office, 1503 Highway 395, Suite G, Gardnerville, for people who wish to see what kind of information is needed for a listing.
