Little league sign-ups tonight

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Tahoe National Little League is beginning sign-ups for all boys and girls ages 4 (as of 4/30/2012) and 12 years of age (must not be 13 before 5/1/2012) this week. Sign-ups are being held this Thursday, Feb. 9 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday, March 7 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the South Tahoe Ice Arena. Players may also register on-line at http://www.tahoelittleleague.com. No experience is necessary.

All players (including returning players) must provide an original certified birth certificate to register (no copies please). Sign-up fees are $85.00 for players age 4-8 and $95.00 for players age 9-12. Family discounts for multiple players will be offered. South Tahoe National Little League is also looking for adult volunteers who would like to coach, manage, umpire or assist with league activities.

Little League baseball is a wonderful opportunity for boys and girls to learn team sportsmanship, leadership skills and the game of baseball in a fun, rewarding and safe environment.
