‘Littlest Angel’ presented in Virginia City
As part of Christmas on the Comstock, historic Saint Mary’s in the Mountains Roman Catholic Church will present a beloved Christmas classic, “The Littlest Angel,” at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church in Virginia City.
A production of Tahoe Players under the direction of Monica Folio, this musical presentation tells the story of an Earth-sick little angel newly arrived in the celestial kingdom, just in time for Christmas, who finds his transition from boy to cherub a difficult one. The story has a surprise ending. It is a delight for all ages. Admission is free. A reception and tour of the recently completed museum on the first floor follows the performance. Refreshments, including angel cookies, will provided all angels, big and small.
