This porcelain, free standing, wood-burning stove donated by Rudy's Plumbing will be among the items offered in the auctions at the Riva Grill AIDS Benefit.

Along with all that you expect to experience at the Riva Grill AIDS Benefit that takes place tonight, a live auction has been added to the event.

“So many generous individuals and businesses contribute to our event,” said Sue Barton of the Friends of Patrick Bennett, “that we decided to add a short live auction as well.”

Among the items for the live auction are a complete Web site donated by Carolyn and Dee Phillips of Phillips Business Solutions valued at $2,000; seven nights at an ocean-front condo with two baths and two bedrooms that sleeps six in Cancun, Mexico, with a value of $2,250 donated by Jay Hoey; a king-size, handmade quilt by Tammy Kirchubel valued at $800; a black porcelain, free standing, to code wood burning (21-inch logs) fireplace with a self-cleaning window by HearthStone valued at $2,000 donated by Rudy’s Plumbling; and two nights at a luxury casita in Troon North, Ariz., in the Sonora Desert valued at $500 donated by Deb Howard.

The Riva Grill AIDS Benefit takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Riva Grill on the Lake, 900 Ski Run Blvd. The event features food, beverage, a silent auction, the live auction, a raffle and a dance to the bands Get Kyle and The Coy.

Tickets are $30 and are available at both chambers of commerce. Tickets are limited and the event sells out. For more information contact (530) 541-7720 or
