Local alliance on mental illness meets second Tuesday of month

The family support group of the South Lake Tahoe chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will meet Jan. 12 in the South Lake Tahoe Public Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.

The family support group meets the second Tuesday of each month at the library.

NAMI is also taking names for a free 12-week course called Family to Family to help families of individuals with serious mental illness understand and cope with the challenges of this difficult life experience.
