Local artist’s work to be shown in Placerville

Annette Schoonover, award-winning sculptor and local business owner has been accepted to show her bronze and stone sculptures at the Gold Country Artists Gallery in Placerville.

Schoonover started her sculpting career approximate four years ago, studying her craft at Lake Tahoe Community College. She has successfully been accepted by art galleries in California and Washington and her commissioned bronze sculpture, “Hope,” graces the waiting room of the surgical floor at Barton Memorial Hospital.
