Local couple to wed at Glenbrook

Kristina Kirschner of Stateline, Nev., and Steve Zehren of South Lake Tahoe will exchange wedding vows Sept. 15 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Glenbrook, Nev.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kirschner of Stateline. A 1993 graduate of George Whittell High School, she attended the University of Montana, Missoula and received a bachelor of science and education degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2001. She is a student teacher at Minden Elementary School, Minden, Nev., as well as a recreation leader at Kahle Community Park. She is a member of Lake Tahoe-Nevada Republican Women.

The future bridegroom is the son of Sandee Keoppen and Ron Zehren, both of South Lake Tahoe. He graduated from South Tahoe High School in 1991 and has an associate of arts degree in fire science. He is a self-employed landscaper and irrigation contractor.
