Local dogs invited to Howl’oween celebration

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Tahoe Best Friends invites local canines and their owners the Dog Howl’oween Costume Party and Parade.

The celebration is planned for 2:30 p.m., Oct. 29 at Tahoe Best Friends on 2197 Ruth Ave.

Prizes will be given for best dog customer, best child, adult costume and best float. Floats should be no larger than four feet wide and be pulled by or carry a dog.

There will be dog training tips and demos and bobbing for hotdogs for dogs.
