Local pianist performs Friday at LTCC

Join local pianist Mark Valentine Friday, March 27, at Lake Tahoe Community College for a mystical pilgrimage exploring the musical realms of Franz Liszt from the romantic to the transcendental.

Valentine will perform in the Duke Theatre at 8 p.m. Friday.

Valentine is a 1973 graduate of South Tahoe High School and UCLA. He is a student of Sergei Mihailoff and has returned to his hometown after playing professionally in Europe for the last 10 years as a certified Royal Academy of Dance and Cecetti Ballet Master Accompanist.

Tickets are $8, and available for purchase at the door. Music of the Night is a benefit performance sponsored by the LTCC Music Department with all the proceeds from the concert benefiting the Music program at LTCC.
