1 injured as small plane crashes at South Lake Tahoe airport

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Authorities say one person has been injured after a light plane crashed in California at the South Lake Tahoe Airport.
Fire officials say the small plane went down shortly before 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4. It came to rest upside down.
Two people were aboard the plane and one of them was hospitalized. The person’s condition was not immediately released.
There was no immediate word on the cause.
