Autumn snow showers at Lake Tahoe Sunday afternoon

Snow flurries returned to South Lake Tahoe around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service located in Reno, “Band of showers with mountain snow is occurring across the Sierra. Some snow is sticking to unpaved surfaces but mainly wet roadways so far across I-80. Expect showers to continue through this evening.”
