County committee seeks five new members

The In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee of El Dorado County is looking for five new members to fill current vacancies, according to the county.

The job of the committee is to advise the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and the IHSS Public Authority of anything affecting recipients and care providers in the IHSS program.

The Board of Supervisors appoints the committee. Anyone who has received care through IHSS, a similar program or has provided care to someone after a serious illness, disability or surgery is welcome to apply, according the county.



Individuals who are interested can attend the next IHSS Advisory Committee on July 21 at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the M.O.R.E. Facility, located at 399 Placerville Drive in Placerville.
