Douglas County Sheriff looking for purse thief

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying the suspect in a purse theft that occurred in Mont Blue on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The suspect was caught on video in the area of the table game where the victim’s purse was taken and appears to leave the table game carrying something in his hands.

He appears to be in his mid-20s and 5’7” to 5’9” in height with a thin build. He has brown hair and was last seen wearing a gray V-neck T-shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.



The suspect leaves the casino floor and appears on camera near the hallway to the parking garage elevators. He then gets into the elevator and exits on the third floor of the parking garage where he gets into in a small white compact sedan and quickly leaves.

The theft occurred at around 1 a.m. Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to call investigator Ted Duzan at 775-586-7257.
