Gang sweep results in three arrests

Tribune staff report

A gang enforcement operation in South Lake Tahoe searched six homes on June 11 and resulted in three arrests: One for a probation violation, one for possession of drug paraphernalia and one for a San Diego County warrant.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, El Dorado County Probation Department and South Lake Tahoe Police searched the six homes and found evidence of gang affiliation, according to the sheriff’s office.

More gang sweeps are expected in the future. Concerned citizens are asked to contact local law enforcement with any information that may help.
