STATELINE — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe will hold a culinary job fair at its career center on Dec. 15.

The career center is located at 50 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nev. The resort encourages anyone interested to apply at the job fair or visit the hotel’s website to view all available positions and apply online.

The resort casino is scheduled to open to the public Jan. 28 after a VIP grand opening reception. However, the public will not be able to make room reservations until Jan. 29 at the earliest.

When it does open, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe will feature four distinct eateries and two bars, each offering diverse menus, dishes, unique cocktails, craft brews and globally recognized beer brands, according to a press release.

The first restaurant is Fire Break Kitchen & Bar, named after the out-of-bounds run off of Heavenly Mountain Resort. It will serve breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. Burgers, specialty waffles and stews are just a few items on the menu.

Indoor and outdoor seating will also be available at the restaurant, which will be open seven days a week.

Park Prime, on the other hand, will be a modern steakhouse complete with a bar and live music. The restaurant was inspired by the Park Family — the owners of the resort.

Menu items will include local grass-fed, free-range beef, premium seafood and shareable appetizers. Park Prime will also be open seven days a week.

For seafood, The Oyster Bar is reported to be the first-ever raw seafood bar of its kind on the South Shore, that is, when it opens in January. It will also be the resort’s “hub for all New Orleans favorites, including hearty gumbos, rich pan roasts and traditional jambalya,” according to a recent announcement.

Rounding off the fourth eatery is Fuel, which will serve coffee, pastries, grab-and-go sandwiches and other snacks.

Finally, the two bars at the casino resort will be called The Center Bar and North Bar.

The Center Bar will be located at the heart of the hotel and feature 12 beers on draft, a variety of bottled beers, wine, large TVs and more. It will always be open, unlike the North Bar.

The North Bar will be located adjacent to the hotel lobby and close to the sports book. It will feature 80-inch LCD screens and an interactive video wall. Four beers will be on draft at this bar, along with a selection of bottled beers and specialty cocktails.
