Kudos & Kindness: Congratulations to our scholarship winners

Ed Cook Tree Service is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of our “Woodchips for Scholarships Program”, for South Tahoe High School’s Industrial Arts Academy.

This year we awarded two $300 scholarships for architectural design students. Our recipients were Christine Larrance, who will be studying Civil Engineering at CSU Sacramento, and Adam Maclean, who will study architectural design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

We also gave two $500 shopping spree scholarships, done in partnership with Napa Auto at the “Y,” to Dalton Lathrop, who will continue his education in the field of diesel mechanics, and Colin Daniel, who will attend Universal Technical Institute in the fall.

Additionally, we awarded Geddy Miller the $500 shopping spree scholarship at Meeks Lumber. Miller will attend Lake Tahoe Community College and continue working in the construction trades.

Congratulations to our Industrial Arts Scholars and thank you to Napa Auto and Meeks for partnering with us for these talented students.
