Kudos & Kindness: Tamale Fundraiser was a success

Tahoe Valley Elementary School would like to thank all of the people who made our Tamale Fundraiser a success. The Tahoe Valley Cafecitos parents coordinated and worked more than 10 hours solid to make 80 dozen tamales with the help of the Sierra House Elementary and Bijou Community Cafecitos volunteers, and the Family Resource Center. The Mexican Meat Market also helped support these efforts by discounting many of the supplies. All of the proceeds are going directly to purchase a new informational/community sign for Tahoe Valley Elementary. Lastly we would like to thank all of the community members who purchased and enjoyed the tamales, getting us closer to our goal. If you would like more information on how you can support Tahoe Valley’s informational sign, please contact the office at 530-543-2350.
