Kudos & Kindness: Thanks for making the retirement party a success

The staff of Bijou Community School would like the community to know how grateful we are to have such wonderful families who helped make our recent retirement party such a success.

We want to thank Rosie and the staff at the Blue Angel Cafe for creating such a beautiful setting and preparing delicious appetizers at a very reasonable cost. We also want to give a special shout-out to Matt for volunteering to bartend for our event! Huge appreciation goes to the kids who danced (and their parents who brought them).

We would also like to thank Katie of Thran’s flowers for donating corsages for each of the ladies. The corsages helped to make each of them feel special and were beautifully designed. Everyone had a great time honoring Linda Loughrin and Kris Hakanson, who are retiring.

We are so lucky to work with the students at Bijou and having such supportive families is the added bonus. Thank you!
