Kudos & Kindness: Thanks to TRYP for supporting the Boys & Girls Club

I want to take this opportunity to thank the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals for their support toward building a better future one child at the time. On Saturday, Nov. 23, they held their Winter White Christmas party and raised $4,218 for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. I was not only amazed by their generosity but by their visionary approach of investing in the future of our community.

The Tahoe Regional Young Professionals have a clear understanding that youth and children can only be led through actions instead of just words. In the words of Walt Disney, “Youth grows and develops largely by example. It seeks the esteem of those it respects for character and achievement. When this respect and example are mutual among groups together in common ground, the influence of one upon another is enormously multiplied.”

I can only express the club’s deepest gratitude to The Tahoe Regional Young Professionals for arriving in common ground and hope that our children, one day, imitate their actions and character by sharing their future achievements with our community.

Once again, kudos to the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals.
