Kudos & Kindness: The spirit of giving endures

This lovely community is unique in so many ways. The spirit of giving back, paying it forward, and lending a helping hand is alive and well despite the lack of snow, jobs and resources. The South Lake Tahoe Family Resource Center experienced this spirit with a plethora of wealth raining down on us to assist families in need during the holidays. The list of those who gave back is so long, we could not possibly mention everyone here, but the most gracious include Tahoe Magic, Toys for Tots (El Dorado), CHPs for Kids, the Moose Lodge, the Lake Tahoe Community College Student Ambassadors, Grocery Outlet, Chris Cocores and his crew, families at Bijou Community School, Edgewood Companies, and the many, many generous people of this great community. Thank you for your enduring spirit of giving to children and families less fortunate than most.
