Everyone is invited to attend a potluck with a program Friday, July 8, at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, located at 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Brenda Orique will do a presentation with fascinating facts about the South Lake Tahoe Historical Society. Come and enjoy sharing good food, socializing and an interesting program. It’s scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Those attending the potluck are asked to arrive at 5:15 p.m. to sign in, place their dish on the buffet table and their plates and utensils where they wish to sit, so dinner can follow shortly after 5:30 p.m. The theme of the potluck is “An All-American Picnic.” The main dishes will be hot dogs and hamburgers. Please bring either a salad, side dish, fruit or dessert for six to eight people. RSVP with how many will be coming with you and to discuss what you will bring to Arline at 530-545-1277 — or contact her at the receptionist’s office Monday though Friday from 1-4 p.m. at 530-542-6094 — no later than Thursday, July 7.
