Kannon Jaren Combes was born Sept. 28 to Sebastian and April Combes of South Lake Tahoe.



Rylan Ray Duffy was born Oct. 5 to Aaron Duffy and Cora Conley of South Lake Tahoe.

James Daniel Gordon was born Oct. 1 to Zachary Gordon and Dawn Morgan of South Lake Tahoe.



Adelaide Rosaleigh Koeck was born Sept. 30 to Jeffrey and Ayla Koeck of South Lake Tahoe.

Bridget Diane Evline McLaughlin was born Sept. 28 to Jeremy and Hillary McLaughlin of South Lake Tahoe.

SENIOR CENTER POTLUCK

Everyone is invited to a potluck featuring a speaker from the Lake Tahoe Humane Society on Friday, Oct. 9. She will talk about animals. The program starts at 6:30 p.m. The event will be hosted at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Those attending the potluck, which starts at 5:15 p.m., are asked to bring their own plate, utensils and either a salad, side dish, fruit or dessert for six to eight people. The main dish will be spare ribs.

Please RSVP to Arline June Gordon at 530-545-1277. Also tell Arline what you plan to bring, so there can be a variety of food.

There will be a cash raffle, and two tickets for the pancake breakfast on Oct. 17 will be awarded.

DONATIONS NEEDED

Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation invites you to participate in our annual Nonprofit Wish List. For over 10 years, the Wish List has been directly connecting donors to local nonprofits during the holiday giving season. This year, the Wish List will be focusing on Fund-A-Need, and nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to raise funds for a specific program, capital expense, etc.

Parasol will select and promote each organization basin-wide for free. To participate in the 2015 Wish List you must be a 501(c)3 public charity, school or faith-based organization that has held its tax exempt status for two years or more, is in good standing, and serves Lake Tahoe Basin communities.

Submissions are due no later than October 31, 2015.
