UPCOMING MEETINGS

South Tahoe Public Utility District Board of Directors meets Thursday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at 1275 Meadow Crest Drive in South Lake Tahoe. The board will consider formalizing an agreement to provide Lukins Brothers Water Company with water until its contaminated wells are repaired.

South Lake Tahoe City Council meets Monday, Dec. 7, at 9 a.m. at Lake Tahoe Airport, 1901 Airport Road. The council will receive an update from Tahoe Transportation District on the US 50 South Shore Community Revitalization Project.

NAIL TRIM FOR CHRISTMAS CHEER.

Alpine Animal Hospital will once again offer its “Holiday Cheer Nail Trim Promotion” to benefit Christmas Cheer this year.

The promotion, now in its 25th year, has raised more $37,900 and lots of canned food for Christmas Cheer. Last year, the promotion raised more than $2,900 for the nonprofit.

The promotion takes place from Dec. 1-31.
