Pet of the Week: “Spooky”

Spooky is a 16-month-old shorthaired male black cat who has been at the El Dorado County Animal Shelter since November. He is in need of a loving, caring home. He arrived at the shelter with his buddy Ninja, an 8-month-old female black-and-white kitty. Spooky gets along well with everyone. He would be an ideal senior companion or family addition to any home with children and other pets. Black cats are known for their “affectionate ways” and once they love you, they love you for life! If you can, consider taking Ninja as a companion kitty for Spooky. Please come visit Spooky and Ninja at The El Dorado County Animal Services, 530-573-7925. For spay-neuter services and other support, call the Lake Tahoe Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at 530-542-2857. Update on last week’s pet of the week: Josie was adopted to a wonderful home. She received many inquires. Thank you South Lake Tahoe animal lovers!
