A reward is being offered for information leading to the culprits in two thefts that occurred at Stateline during Thanksgiving week.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in identifying a person of interest in the theft of a wallet and subsequent credit card fraud on Nov. 24 at Harrah’s Casino.

According to the sheriff’s office, the victim was walking through the casino at around 7 a.m. when her wallet fell out of her pocket. A man found the wallet and walked toward the security stand, but did not turn the wallet into security. The victim later found someone had used her credit cards. Early the morning of Nov. 27, someone took property from a vehicle parked at the MontBleu parking lot. The man suspected in the theft was captured walking into the casino. A reward is offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest and-or conviction of the suspect in either case. Identity is not needed and callers will remain anonymous. Call 775-782-5126 or Douglas County Secret Witness at: 775-78-CRIME.
