A South Lake Tahoe man arrested in August on suspicion of sexually abusing a child with disabilities was sentenced to California state prison Friday.

El Dorado County Superior Court Judge Suzanne Kingsbury sentenced Allan Curtis Delisle to 14 years and eight months in prison on three counts related to sexual abuse Friday morning.

South Lake Tahoe police arrested Delisle on Aug. 19 on suspicion of sexual abuse against a child with disabilities, including lewd and lascivious acts with a child, oral copulation of a child under 16 years old, oral copulation of a child by force and oral copulation of a victim with a mental disability.

Delisle, who was 69 years old at the time of his arrest, could face a lifetime of parole when he is released from prison. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.
