Vandals tear up Glenbrook Golf Course

Damage to Glenbrook Golf Course is estimated at $15,000. Secret Witness is offering a reward.

An joy rider caused an estimated $15,000 in damage to Glenbrook Golf Course after tearing around the course in a vehicle early Sunday morning, according to a statement from Douglas County Sheriff’s spokesman Pat Brooks.

Brooks said vandals entered the course about 1 a.m. and damaged greens, fairways and tee boxes.

Douglas County Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the vandal.

The sheriff’s office asks anyone with information to call investigator Ed Garren at 775-586-7255 or Secret Witness at 775-782-7463.
