Christine Novotny and Travis Woodcock have announced their engagement and will be married July 22 at Lake Tahoe.

The bride-to-be, known better as “Corky,” is the daughter of Gerald and Jeanne Novotny of Glenbrook. She graduated in 2000 from Whittell High School and in May 2005 received a bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in marketing from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is working on getting her brokers license in Oregon.

The future bridegroom is the son of Gary and Gayle Woodcock of Gardnerville. He graduated in 1998 from South Lake Tahoe High School and is attending Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Ore. He expects to graduate in April 2007.
