Lois Jean Coleman

Memorial services will be conducted March 17 for Lois Jean Coleman, who died March 9, 2006, at her home in Gardnerville, Nev., surrounded by her loving family. She was 70.

Lois was born Oct. 26, 1935, in San Francisco to Thomas Spitaleri and Inez Bianchini. She resided at South Lake Tahoe from 1973 to 1990, when she moved to Gardnerville. She was a member of St. Gall’s Catholic Church, active with the Carson Valley Kids Fishing Derby and volunteered with the Carson City Senior Games. Lois was a loving mother and wife, an adoring grandmother, and an uplifting friend to all with whom she came in contact.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Coleman of Gardnerville; children, Lori Cooper of Gardnerville; son, Bill Coleman of Reno, Nev.; grandson, Dusty Cooper of Gardnerville; Den Haag of Holland; sisters, Kiki Broderick and Pat Bouharin, both of Gardnerville; and countless nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Lipke.

Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. March 17 at The Bentley Science Park, 1751 Orbit Way, Minden, Nev.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Lois Coleman to the American Cancer Society, Hospice or any children’s charity.
