Low-cost flu clinics available for Tahoe residents

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The El Dorado County Health Services Department is holding low-cost community flu clinics for South Lake Tahoe residents over the next few weeks.

The seasonal flu vaccine, which will be available in both nasal mist and flu shot forms at the flu clinics, will cost $10. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.

People ages 6 months and older may receive the vaccine.



The community flu clinics will be held from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Bijou School located at 3501 Spruce Ave. in South Lake Tahoe, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 27 and Nov. 10 at the Senior Center, located at 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe.
