LTCC closes for winter break

Staff report

Lake Tahoe Community College will be closed for the holidays today through Jan. 2, but students can still register for winter classes online at http://www.ltcc.edu.

The Web site will be open for winter quarter registration from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Students can register online through the day of the first class meeting. Support will be offered through e-mail and voicemail. Students who have questions can call (530) 541-4660, ext. 211, or e-mail webreg@ltcc.edu.

Staff will be checking both daily, except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

The Web site, http://www.ltcc.edu, offers a real-time class schedule where students can go to find out about class openings, closures and cancellations. Students can access the winter schedule from the LTCC home page. Students can register by going to http://www.ltcc.edu and clicking on Apply/Register/Grades or Online Services.

Students must pay the day they register online using a credit card or debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo. If students have questions on the registration process they can click on “Having problems with WebReg,” on the left-hand side of the online services page. There is also a help screen and “frequently asked questions” page on the Web site. Classes start Jan. 3.
