LTVA to consider Tahoe-capital shuttle study

The Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority Board of Directors will meet today at 3 p.m. in the Caesars Tahoe Convention Center.

The board will consider LTVA participation in the a research study, approved by the Tahoe-Douglas Visitors Authority, to explore the need and potential of a motorcoach service between the Sacramento Area and South Shore.

The LTVA would be interested in the study for the research benefits, said LTVA Executive Director Terry LeBan. Part of the mission of the LTVA is conduct market research.



Also on the agenda is the appointment of a vice chairman for the board of directors and consideration of a targeted direct mail campaign to replace the free standing inserts that have been distributed in Northern California and Southern California newspapers several times a year.
