November 19, 1943 – February 17, 2008

Lynda went to be with the Lord on Feb. 17, 2008, surrounded by her family. She was born to Paul and Hazel Dye on Nov. 19, 1943 in Fresno, Calif. She married Russ Rummelt and had four children.



She spent her life devoted to her children and grandchildren. Her door was always open to whomever needed a shoulder, a helping hand, or just a hug. She spent her last year in Tahoe surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Hazel Dye and one sister, Norma.

She is survived by her children, John Emberton, Stacie McGraw, Shawnna Vantine, and Jason Rummelt all from South Lake Tahoe; her beloved grandchildren, Amanda Steele of Norwalk, Calif., Ashley Rummelt of Carlsbad, Calif., and Lucus Vantine of South Lake Tahoe; her precious great-grandson, Justin; two brothers, Jerry Dye of Fresno and Randy Dye of South Lake Tahoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.



A graveside service is planned for Monday Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N Villa Ave., Clovis, CA.
