Matt Macosko will go on trial April 2 for marijuana transportation charges.

Jury selection also will begin at that time, said Deputy District Attorney Mike Atwell.

Macosko appeared at El Dorado Superior Court Friday before Judge Richard Haugner.

During the readiness and settlement hearing Friday, the defense and prosecution agreed to a motion to continue the case.

Macosko was arrested Oct. 2 for allegedly supplying marijuana to a minor He had also been arrested last April for charges related to transportation and sales of marijuana. He says he is a medical marijuana provider.

Another readiness and settlement hearing was scheduled for March 22 at 8:30 a.m.

“(The judge) wants to hear about any problems the attorney may see on the day of the trial,” Atwell said.
