Magic show is for whole family

"Ashkenazi the Pretty Good" (aka Kevin A. Madden) will present a Halloween magic show on Saturday.

Ashkenazi the Pretty Good will perform a Halloween magic show at 3 p.m. Saturday at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.

This amazing magic show can be enjoyed by the entire family, from 3 year olds to grandparents. Costumes are optional. After the performance of magic tricks, all the children are invited to participate in a parade through the library to find treats.

Ashkenazi the Pretty Good’s alter ego is Kevin A. Madden, an accomplished musician, who grew up and attended school in South Lake Tahoe.

Growing up he practiced relentlessly on kids and grown-ups alike in his efforts to acquire magical skills, performing at private parties and local restaurants as his abilities developed. He has since earned a masters degree in education, served as education director for the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, and taken Ashkenazi the Pretty Good all over the world.
