Makley to talk about newest book Thursday
Author Michael Makley will talk about his newest book “Saving Lake Tahoe” at the Tahoe Area Sierra Club’s meeting on Thursday.
The presentation will take place at 7 p.m. at Unity at the Lake Center, 1195 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
In “Saving Lake Tahoe”, Makley chronicles the battles over the management of the Tahoe Basin, from the Comstock era to the present
Makley has written five books on western history, including “A Short History of Lake Tahoe”. He lives in Markleeville.
Books will be available after the discussion. All are welcome.
