Man arrested, allegedly hit 5-year-old with prosthetic arm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A 49-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly used his prosthetic arm to hit an acquaintance’s 5-year-old son, according to police reports.
On Feb. 26 at 10 p.m. South Lake Tahoe police officers responded to the hospital where the boy was being treated for a visible injury on one of his arms. Officers investigated and arrested the man on the 3700 block of Blackwood Road. The boy would not give the man a pair of fake handcuffs he was playing with, when the man became irritated and hit him, according to the police report.
