Man injured in suspected DUI

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – About 7:50 p.m. on Sunday, police arrested a 60-year-old South Lake Tahoe man on suspicion of felony driving under the influence charges after he allegedly struck a man on Ski Run Boulevard.

Details of the crash were not available Thursday afternoon because a report of the incident is not yet been complete, said Lt. David Stevenson.

The man was in serious but stable condition Monday, Stevenson said.

Larry Halverson remained in custody at El Dorado County Jail in South Lake Tahoe Thursday afternoon. It is unknown if he has an attorney.
