Man says property missing after escort’s visit

Staff report

At 5:15 a.m. March 20, a man contacted the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office about property missing from his hotel room at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa, according to a deputy’s report.

Earlier that night, the man had called an escort service, according to the report.

After receiving an exotic dance from a female escort, the man confronted the woman about a laptop and camera allegedly missing from the room.

The escort reportedly denied stealing the electronics, which had an estimated value of $3,100, and left the hotel.

The case remains under investigation.
