McIntyre registers second QB sack in loss to Calgary

In two games in 2010, Garrett McIntyre already has made more quarterback sacks than he collected during his 2009 Canadian Football League rookie season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

McIntyre, a former South Tahoe High School football player, made his second sack of the young season in a 23-22 defeat to the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday in Hamilton’s home opener. Last year during an injury-shortened season, McIntyre had one QB sack.

The defensive lineman had three tackles overall for Hamilton (0-2).

Hamilton will try to break into the win column on Friday when the Tiger-Cats entertain Winnipeg.
