McIntyre starts preseason with a QB sack

Garrett McIntyre of South Lake Tahoe got off to a solid start at the outset of his second Canadian Football League season.

The former South Tahoe High football player made three tackles, including a quarterback sack, in Hamilton’s 13-10 preseason defeat to the Toronto Argos on Saturday in Toronto.

Toronto’s Dehaze kicked a 13-yard field goal with 51 seconds remaining to give the Argos the win.

McIntyre, who reported to camp on June 5, is featured on a video blog on the team’s Web site at

The TigerCats will meet Winnipeg in their second preseason game on Sunday.
