McIntyre, Tiger-Cats keep winning

Steve Yingling, Tribune sports editor

What a difference a season makes.

Garrett McIntyre and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats picked up their fourth win Saturday – one more than the team recorded during the entire 2008 season.

Hamilton rallied for a 28-21 home victory against the Edmonton Eskimos. Edmonton led 12-0 at one point and 21-14 in the third quarter before Hamilton rallied.

McIntyre, Hamilton’s starting defensive end, made four tackles and has 13 for the season, tying him for seventh among team leaders.

Hamilton now has a 4-2 record – second in the Canadian Football League’s Eastern Division. The Tiger-Cats next play at Saskatchewan on Sunday, Aug. 16.
