Measure S authority meets to discuss implementation of recreation plan
The Joint Powers Authority for Measure S will meet to discuss how to implement the recreational plan. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the South Lake Tahoe Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Road.
The meeting will include a review of the legal structure, a status report on each part of the project and what financial steps need to be taken to implement the measure, which includes, ball fields, bike trails, an ice skating rink and improvements to Tahoe Paradise Resort Improvement District.
How to apply for a low-income discount will also be discussed.
