Meditation class is offered to all

Provided to the Tribune

Hillary and Dr. Stew Bittman, spiritual leaders at Unity at the Lake, will present a meditation class suitable for all levels of experience. “In The Silence” will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Safe Haven Chiropractic, 3170 Highway 50 in Meyers. A love offering will be accepted.

The class will explore the purpose and benefits of meditation using several different techniques. Participants should bring their questions and answers. Meditation has been practiced for millennia around the world as a fundamental tool on the spiritual path. It has been known to reduce stress and promote health. It also brings people into communion with their essential spiritual nature and opens everyone to the guidance and wisdom within, helping them to live “in the world, but not of it.”
