Meet Amelia Bedelia today at Zephyr Cove library

The Douglas County Public Library in Zephyr Cove celebrates Children’s Book Week with special programs, including an appearance by Amelia Bedelia at 3 p.m. today.

Families of all ages are welcome.

Amelia is well-known by beginning readers for getting into trouble because she is very literal-minded. Her antics include “changing” the towels and “dusting” the furniture.

Amelia will meet students at Zephyr Cove Elementary School and escort them to the library, 233 Warrior Way. A signed permission slip from parents is required. Parents must pick up their child at the library at 4:30 p.m.
